Beijing firm Tonghe Shanzi Landscape Design has created a practical hotel using shipping containers.
Located in Changzhi, China, Xiang Xiang Xiang Pray House is made up of 35 shipping containers. There are two room sizes — 15 square meters (161 square feet) or 30 square meters (322 square feet).
Each room has a skylight, and is equipped with Wi-Fi, water and electricity supply, and an air conditioner.
Guests enter the boutique hotel through a container which is decorated with Chinese character “bliss”.
The hotel has a restaurant in a container, and one room is designed for guests who wish to host a incense-burning ceremony.
