Tumbleweed EPU Tiny Home


For single young people who want to simplified their lives, Tumbleweed Tiny House Company offers some of the most practical floor plans for under 100 square feet. One of the most popular models is the EPU which is designed to be built on a trailer.

The living room has a built in desk and a small stainless steel fireplace.

There is a small kitchen equipped with stove top, toaster oven, refrigerator, sink and a small water heater.

The tiny bathroom doubles as a shower.

The loft can fit a queen size foam mattress and has shelving for clothes.

It costs $494 to purchase a plan. The do-it-yourself estimate cost is about $19,950. A ready-made factory model costs about $46,000.

Charming Tiny Bungalow House


The Bayside Bungalow is a cozy vacation rental house located in Olympia, Washington overlooking the Puget Sound. This tiny house was built on an 18 foot flatbed trailer based on a slightly modified Tumbleweed Fencl plan.

The interior has 100 square feet of space on the main floor with an additional 60 square foot loft. The sleeping loft is above the kitchen, closet and bathroom.

Two skylights and 11 windows allow plenty of natural light into the house. A stainless steel fireplace warms the house. The cathedral ceiling makes the tiny home feel quite spacious.

Port-A-Bach Shipping Container Home


Atelierworkshop designed the Port-a-Bach prototype shipping container home which is portable, environmentally-friendly, inexpensive, and can comfortably sleep two adults and two children.

The tiny home features exterior steel shell that can be folded up to enclose the entire structure.

There are large internal storage cupboards and shelves, a stainless steel kitchen, bathroom with open shower, sink and composting toilet. An interior fabric screen system allows you to create rooms within the open space.

Fittings allow the use of the container connections to attach to solar and wind equipment.
