Architecture and art are entwined to create an intriguing and intimate residential apartment building in Luxembourg. The concept is the work of artist SUMO which is a response to urban landscape in the era of “post-graffiti”.

The interiors of the apartments are open yet narrow. The all-glass ceilings ensure plenty of light to filter through the space.

Retro-Futuristic Steampunk Loft Apartment In New York


Welcome to the surreal steampunk apartment where Jules Verne meets Tim Burton. This unique steampunk style loft apartment in Chelsea, New York City is inspired by science-fiction and fanciful interpretations of Victorian-era technology.

The focal point of the apartment is a Technicolor zeppelin that appears to float from the ceiling.

In the kitchen, antique wrenches are used as cabinet door handles and drawer pulls.

The 1,800 square foot home is designed as an open loft with one bedroom and two full bathrooms, which are hidden behind walls of antique piping, gears and cogs.

The refurbishment of this 40 square meter (430 sq. ft.) apartment in Tel-Aviv, Israel transformed a studio apartment into a functional one bedroom apartment.

Designed by Sfaro Architects, the kitchen, bathroom and storage space are concentrated in the middle with a 360 degree circulation around the apartment.

This floor plan makes the apartment looks much bigger than it actually is and provides a sense of a multifunctional space.

Westbourne Grove Church Transformed Into Stunning Modern Loft


DOS Architects have transformed the top two floors of Westbourne Grove Church into a contemporary loft apartment.

Located in Notting Hill, London, England, the Victorian church was originally built in 1853. Traditional architectural elements such as arched windows have been preserved.

The open plan of this 400 square meter (4,305 sq. ft.) modern loft with double height allows transparency. A glass staircase connects the two floors.
